MCP
Use Treffer inside AI assistants and agents. Connect once, then ask in plain language. For example: "find the email of the managing director of example-gmbh.de".
Our MCP server runs at https://mcp.treffer.io/mcp.
Sign in with your Treffer account when the client asks; no key to copy.
Lookups consume credits like normal API calls, and a lookup that finds nothing is free.
Connect
| claude.ai | Add the URL as a custom connector, then sign in. |
| ChatGPT | Turn on developer mode, add the URL as a connector, then sign in. |
| Claude Code |
claude mcp add --transport http treffer https://mcp.treffer.io/mcp
Then run /mcp to sign in. See the
Claude Code MCP docs.
|
| Other clients |
Any MCP client works. Clients without a sign-in flow can send your API key
as an X-API-Key header instead.

Access and revocation
A connected assistant can run lookups on your account. To remove that access, revoke the app under your API keys, or delete the Treffer connector in the assistant's settings. Rate limits are the same as for the API, see rate limits.
